Day 1 - Split - Makarska
Depart at 1 p.m. from Split harbor and head south towards Makarska. Late arrivals can join in Makarska. Lunch is served while cruising along the enchanting Dalmatian coast, with an afternoon swim stop in one of the secluded bays en route. Walk along the seafront’s wide promenade, roam around the main square, and check out some cool bars. There is an optional zipline ride over the Cetina river canyon for adrenaline lovers. Overnight in the port of Makarska. (L)
Day 2 - Makarska - Mljet
Early morning departure towards Mljet with a swim stop on Pelješac Peninsula. Part of Mljet Island is a national park (entrance fee to be paid locally). In the afternoon, plan to visit the park’s saltwater lakes, explore the old abbey and church, canoe around the lakes, or rent bicycles and follow the paths throughout the park. Overnight in the port of Polača or Pomena. (B, L)
Day 3 - Mljet - Dubrovnik
After breakfast, depart towards Dubrovnik, the most famous town in Croatia and, for many, the highlight of this cruise. The Irish writer George Bernard Shaw referred to Dubrovnik as “heaven on earth”. Upon arrival, explore on your own or join a guided city tour, followed by an optional cable car ride up to Srđ Mountain for spectacular views of the Old Town. Don’t miss Stradun, both a street and a square in the Old Town, and walk at least part of the 1,940m long city walls which have protected Dubrovnik over the centuries from attacks. Overnight in Dubrovnik Gruž port. (B, L)
Day 4 - Dubrovnik - Šipan or Trstenik
Late morning departure towards the island of Šipan or the small town of Trstenik on Pelješac Peninsula. Enjoy gorgeous spots for an afternoon swim and leisure time with the option to visit a local winery. In the evening, enjoy a special Captain’s dinner on board. Overnight in the port. (B, L, CD)
Day 5 - Šipan or Trstenik - Korčula
After breakfast, depart towards the island of Korčula, one of the most famous islands in Southern Dalmatia and known as the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Lunch on board in a quiet bay near Korčula, with its walls and bastions that date back to the 13th century. Join the town sightseeing tour (included on Premium Superior vessels) or experience a tasting at a local winery before dining in one of the numerous seafront restaurants or konobas on your own. Overnight in Korčula. (B, L)
Day 6 - Korčula - Hvar
Early departure towards Pakleni Islands near Hvar, the longest island in the Adriatic, for lunch and a swim. Later, take a sightseeing tour of Hvar (included on Premium Superior vessels). This town resembles a movie set with its Renaissance cathedral and the oldest community theater in Europe, founded in 1612, on the main square. It is known as a jet-set island, offering abundant entertainment, excellent restaurants, bars, and cafés. Don’t forget to buy some lavender from local street vendors. Overnight in Hvar. (B, L)
Day 7 - Hvar - Bol - Split
The next stop is the island of Brač, with the most famous and most photographed beach in Dalmatia, Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn). A perfect place for a swim. Bol is a typical fishermen’s village that kept its local charm despite becoming a popular tourist destination. After lunch, on the way to Split, there is an option to join a river rafting excursion on the Cetina river. Upon arrival in Split, join the optional guided tour of this magnificent city built around the palace of the Roman Emperor, Diocletian. Historical buildings, great restaurants, cool bars, and bustling cafés are some reasons why Split is the central hub of Dalmatia. (B, L)
Day 8 - Split
After an early breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to the crew and your new friends. Check out by 9 a.m. (B)
