Nature and Culture Roundtrip Cruise from Split

Day 1 - Split - Rogoznica or Primošten

Depart at 1 p.m. from Split harbor. Late arrivals can join in Rogoznica. Lunch is served en route, followed by a stop in a secluded bay for an afternoon swim. Overnight in Rogoznica or Primošten (depending on availability at port). Both are charming and picturesque small villages that offer many restaurants and bars. Do try the famous Babić wine, made locally. (L)

Day 2 - Rogoznica or Primošten - Krka Waterfalls - Šibenik - Vodice

During breakfast, the journey continues towards Krka National Park (entrance fee paid locally). Discover the beauty of Krka National Park with its impressive sets of waterfalls. Lunch on board with spectacular views of Krka River Canyon as we cruise towards Šibenik, where you will have the afternoon free to explore. Above the town center, there is a castle and numerous historic buildings. Overnight in the popular resort of Vodice. (B, L)

Day 3 - Vodice - Kornati - Dugi Otok

Today, visit Kornati National Park (entrance fee included), which comprises of 100 islands and reefs. These islands are rich in cultural and historical remains. Explore the ruins of an old Illyrian fortress, Roman villas, and medieval fortresses and settlements. Overnight on Dugi Otok. (B, L)

Day 4 - Dugi Otok - Zadar

The morning is reserved for swimming. In the afternoon, we will depart towards Zadar, where you can join a guided tour of the city (included on Premium Superior and Premium vessels). Once the historical center of Dalmatia, Zadar has a rich cultural heritage. Be sure to see the 1st century Roman Forum, the church of St. Donatus, the city’s symbol, and numerous palaces and villas of former noble families. Contemporary creations such as the one-of-a-kind Zadar Sea Organ and the “Greetings to the Sun” solar-powered light installation will also be found. Many superb restaurants are in the center and on the seafront to enjoy. Overnight in Zadar. (B, L)

Day 5 - Zadar - Zlarin

After breakfast, the cruise resumes south along the Dalmatian coast with a swim stop in one of the beautiful bays en route before reaching the island of Zlarin. With a few hundred permanent inhabitants in winter, this lovely car-free island welcomes around 3,000 tourists in the summer. Coral farming dates back to the 15th century, and the area is enjoying a slow revival. You may see coral items on sale from local artisans. Enjoy a Captain’s dinner this evening onboard the ship (included on Premium Superior and Premium vessels). Overnight on Zlarin. (B, L, CD)

Day 6 - Zlarin - Trogir

Departure after breakfast and a swim stop in one of the tranquil bays en route. After lunch, cruise to the old Dalmatian town of Trogir, sometimes called mini Venice or mini Dubrovnik, because of its Venetian-style architecture. Join the optional guided tour of Trogir (included on Premium Superior vessels) and enjoy a great choice of bars and restaurants. Overnight in Trogir. (B, L)

Day 7 - Trogir - Split

As the vessel sails back to the Split Riviera, we will have a swim stop in one of the bays on Čiovo Island. In the afternoon, cruise towards the last port of call while enjoying fabulous views of the Split coastline. Join the optional guided tour of Split (included on Premium Superior vessels). The old town of Split is under UNESCO protection, and its monuments are adored by local inhabitants and the many visitors who fall in love with this ancient city. Enjoy the evening strolling through parts of the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace and along Split’s famous Riva. Overnight in Split. (B, L)

Day 8 - Split

After an early breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to the crew and your new friends. Check out by 9 a.m. (B)
